ABOUT

With two decades of experience — 12 of those in people operations leadership roles at high-growth startups and as an operating partner in venture capital — Natalie Ledbetter has become a go-to expert in building high-performance teams, scalable infrastructure and people-first cultures in early-stage (Seed-Series C) startups with product-market fit (PMF) and approximately $1M-$60M in ARR.

Strategizing and architecting people operations programs from the ground up, Natalie specializes in building agile organizations from zero to one and leading transformational change in early-stage companies tackling business, leadership, culture and talent challenges.

Natalie believes wholeheartedly that people operations should be a strategic lever for driving business success — not just a support function — and she brings a rare blend of strategic insight at the leadership level and hands-on execution. Known as a “Swiss Army knife” and “fixer,” she has partnered with more than 100 founders, leveraging deep pattern recognition from startup business-building to fuel revenue growth and long-term value.

Natalie has seen the startup journey from first check to exit and understands what it takes to scale not just companies — but culture. Her expertise has allowed her to lecture at Columbia and Drexel Universities and to contribute to podcasts, articles, and speaking engagements like TedX. Natalie is an active member of Chief, PeopleTech Partners, TroopHR, and Peer150.

Raised in Southeast Asia and a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (hook ’em!), she now calls Brooklyn home. She lives in Boerum Hill with her husband, Jonathan, and their rescue chihuahua. She spends her free time road-tripping, traveling internationally, discovering new restaurants, and soaking up everything New York City has to offer — from rooftop barbecues to live music and museums.
